In recent years the museum has had to adapt to accommodate the challenges posed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, introducing a pop up adventure golf. This adaptation enabled people to continue visiting in smaller groups, with the golf course leading them through periods of Cornwall’s mythical and pirating past.
The adventure golf has since surged in popularity, prompting year on year renovations to make it a permanent feature throughout the museum. It has attracted visitors from near and far, earning the title of Cornwall’s ‘number 1 indoor Adventure Golf’ on Tripadvisor.
Designed with meticulous attention to detail, the adventure golf course features holes surrounded by tales of giants, mermaids, and ancient kings. Players navigate through landscapes that evoke the magical and mysterious essence of Cornwall’s folklore. At the helm of this beloved museum since 2022, are two passionate locals, Andrew and Vicki, who have devoted themselves to maintaining and revitalising this treasure trove of Cornish lore.
