Find out this summer holiday why Pirates wear eyepatches! Did buccaneers really make prisoners walk the plank? And what happened to pirates once they were captured? Find out this Summer Holiday when you embark on a real-life adventure at Pirate’s Quest in Newquay.
Join legendary pirates, Captain Calico Jack, Edward England, Howell Davies, Anne Bonny, Mary Reid and other infamous buccaneers on a swashbuckling, interactive adventure through the Golden Age of Piracy.
Your journey will begin in the Wreck of the Royal Anne Galley, a real ship that was headed for the Caribbean but sank off the South Coast of Cornwall.
Your LIVE Pirate Captain will help you escape the sinking vessel through a secret passageway, and guide you through the mystical caves and murky streets of eighteenth century Cornwall, until you arrive at your destination, the deck of Calico Jack’s famous pirate ship, the Neptune.
Would-be Pirates must take the pirate oath of Parlay, steer the Captain’s ship clear of the Cornish cliffs, and prove you’ve got what it takes to sail the seven seas like a true swashbuckler.
Miniature Pirates – pick up a special treasure map, hunt for clues hidden throughout their journey, and earn themselves some Pirate Gold!
Pirate’s Quest is open daily. Tours will run from 10am every day.
The tour takes an hour and is all indoors just in case it’s a rainy day! Book tickets in advance to secure a tour-time and save 10% (must be purchased 24 hours ahead).
