Don’t miss a visit to Pirate’s Quest, Newquay in Cornwall this summer. With live interactive pirate tours running every 30 minutes during the school holidays (26 July – 31 August) you’re guaranteed a swashbucklin’ summer sensation!

In the walk through experience you’ll find real pirates, based on true stories, leading you around a series of sets and scenes telling tales and sharing Cornish legends.

From young buccaneers to salty sea dogs a visit to Pirate’s Quest is suitable and fun for all the family. Each tour is unique to its group, with your pirate performer tailoring the content to each audience. Small children will love the magic of the story-telling and meeting a real pirate, teenagers will love the optional ‘scare’ section and adults can learn the history of Cornwall’s smuggling and roguish past.

Families will also be given a map full of clues to solve and once completed can take a piece of gold from Calico Jack’s own treasure chest.

Embark on a voyage to 18th Century Cornwall and meet with a real buccaneer with an infamous reputation. Join the crew of the Neptune with Captain Calico Jack, renowned for his highly decorated beard, meet female pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read.

Meet the Pirate Crew at Newquay, CornwallPlus you could meet Captain Henry Every, a famous South West buccaneer who has gone down in Cornish history for committing the single most profitable pirating crime of all time! You may encounter Captain Edward England who will also be on board this summer, his Jolly Roger flag is the most famous of them all – the dreaded Skull & Crossbones.

And finally, will you see and sail the high seas with Captain Howell Davis, reported to be the most deceitful and intelligent pirate to have lived.

The hour long tours set sail from 10am with the final tour starting at 4pm and run every 30 minutes. Prior booking is recommended to avoid disappointment, and visitors can save 10% on their ticket price with bookings made online 24 hours ahead.
