Meet the Mermaid of Zennor for ‘shellfies’ and learn all about the Cornish mermaid’s mysterious past.
Celebrating National Marine Week, Morveren, the Mermaid of Zennor will be meeting and greeting budding buccaneers from Monday 25 July – Thursday 28th July and Monday 1 August – Thursday 4 August. Take shellfies with Morveren and learn all about her life under the sea.
The mermaid meet & greets are running as part of the interactive tours, which are running up to every 15 minutes during the summer holidays and incur no additional cost.

The hour long interactive experience, led by a live Pirate, allows you and your crewmates to feel, hear, smell and see intriguing legends and exciting history – from Ship-Wreck to Ship-Deck!
This year’s storyline invites you to join the infamous Republic of Pirates. Your LIVE Pirate Guide will lead you through the mystical caves and murky streets of eighteenth century Cornwall to the crew’s base for ‘Pirate Recruitment’; Captain Blackbeard’s Tavern – a new section of the attraction where visitors can find out the truth about this infamous rogue of the sea.
Junior buccaneers can also complete a treasure map to claim a Republic of Pirates Membership Card and earn themselves some Treasure.
