Trick or Treasure at Pirate’s Quest

Newquay’s Pirate’s Quest is inviting the bravest buccaneers to hop aboard from some fiendish family-friendly fun this October Half Term (Oct 21st-28th).

The piratical walk-through experience will be packed with plenty of tricks and a few treasures – but there’s no need to fear, the real-life Pirate guides are guaranteed to keep visitors on an even keel throughout the journey.

Visitors will be transported back almost 300 years, where they’ll begin their adventure on board a Pirate Hunter’s Ship.

Their buccaneering guide will rescue them from the sinking vessel, escort them through a secret passageway, and then act as their personal guide and security as they journey into a world of piratical adventures.

However visitors are warned the infamous Jack O’Lantern, King of the Piskies, is out to cause mischief and mayhem this Halloween holiday.

From spriggans and knockers to witches and will o’ the wisps there’s plenty of spooktacular villains to meet during the adventure.

At Towan Blystra Docks there’ll be an opportunity to do some ‘Trick or Treating’ before visitors are invited into the local tavern, a safe haven for pirates.

Then it’s time to decide whether you’re brave enough to enter the optional scare section, The Locker of Davy Jones – perfect for a seasonal scare!

The authentic pirates are brought to life by talented theatrical actors, who are guaranteed to make this a unique and memorable experience – a rare opportunity for all ages to learn something new about piracy, and experience the real life of a seafarer during the ‘Golden Age of Pirates’.

Families can join in the ghoulish fun with a special spooky treasure map, follow the hidden Halloween clues to claim some of the cursed treasure! Don’t be afraid to dress up, it’s optional but most welcome.

Enjoy a wickedly wonderful October half term, fun for the entire family at Pirate’s Quest.
