May Half Term, Saturday 23rd – Sunday 31st May
It won’t be the sea sickness making new recruits queasy at Pirate’s Quest this May Half Term. Discover some disgustingly fun facts about real life beastly buccaneers and putrid privateers at Newquay’s pirate attraction. From lousy living conditions to gruesome grub, prepare for beastliness!
The new storyline for 2020 will take inspiration from the Mayflower vessel and give visitors the chance to Discover the Pirates of the New World, in it’s 400th anniversary year.
Beginning their voyage on the doomed Royal Anne, groups will continue on their journey through secret passages to the coves of Lizard Point and beyond.
On their quest for treasure visitors will stop off at Towan Blystra docks and will even have the chance to visit Blackbeard’s Tavern, a scene originally introduced to Pirate’s Quest to mark the 300th Anniversary of the famous Captain’s death in 2018.
The Pirate’s Quest Experience also includes a detour through the Cornish Land of Legend, a mythical realm filled with Arthurian knights and gruesome giants.
Throughout the attraction, the experience has been enhanced with updated costumes, special effects, lighting and sound in addition to the new storyline for 2020.
Prospective pirates are advised to book online to secure their tour as experiences regularly sell out due to popularity.
